First Ever Blog

So... I thought starting a blog may be the easiest way to keep a log of our new adventures in England & also keep our friends & family up to date with what we're doing. I/we have never blogged before so I'm/we're making this up as I/we go along. The plan is to post photos & info to serve as general 'letters' as we are both pretty awful at writing & sending those.
 
At the moment we are planning to fly out of Adelaide on April 17, all being well & everything in order. That's a bit daunting as its only a few weeks away & Mark flew out this arvo for a 3-week overseas trip & there's still a lot to get done. So don't expect too much blogging to happen before then.

For those of you who don't know, we will be living in or near Salisbury, Wiltshire, which is just south of Stonehenge, South-West of, & 90mins by train away from, London. Mark will be contacting real estate agents this week while he's in England to let them know we're coming!! James is staying at home in Gawler to look after the house & dogs. But we are taking the cat, Maggie, with us, mostly because I discovered last time we lived in England that I can't live without pets. We'll be there for about 15-18 months & we are getting a house with a spare room for visitors :0) We're hoping to visit Germany, Italy, Belgium & Greece, but who knows...
